    Frequently Asked Questions

    What is feedstock?

Feedstock is waste from materials that can be turned into renewable diesel and other sustainable fuels. Honeywell offers solutions across a range of feedstocks to meet the rapidly growing demand for renewable fuels, including SAF.

How can emissions management solutions help the oil and gas industry?

Emissions management solutions help the oil and gas industry by enabling them to track emissions data in near real-time, identify and address potential issues and meet regulatory requirements. This technology also provides customers with access to advanced analytics and reporting capabilities, helping them make data-driven decisions to reduce emissions, improve performance and meet their environmental goals.

How can technology help improve oil and gas product yields?

Technology can help improve oil and gas product yields by optimizing process efficiency while addressing feedstock availability and shifting demand. It can also help maximize the value of gas streams with contaminant removal, natural gas liquid recovery and liquefaction technologies.

How can digital twins help the oil and gas industry?

Process digital twins are the not-so-secret sauce in the oil and gas industry, with capabilities that enable improvements for companies across a variety of sectors. Digital twins give operators an end-to-end view of how a process is functioning, enabling them to monitor performance and make real-time adjustments to increase efficiency, reduce costs and improve quality.

    What is liquified natural gas?

Natural gas is liquefied by lowering the temperature to approximately -260 degrees Fahrenheit (-160 degrees Celsius). The resulting liquefied natural gas (LNG) takes up about 1/600th the volume of natural gas in its gaseous state. This makes it safer and easier to transport and store larger volumes of gas, allowing producers to increase returns. Honeywell UOP Ortloff liquefaction technologies effectively cool natural gas streams and seamlessly integrate liquids recovery for a reliable and efficient solution.
