We’re using inflight connectivity solutions like Honeywell Forge software to combine, coordinate and continuously analyze data from the fleet. It’s keeping planes, pilots and passengers from being grounded by unexpected maintenance.

Aerosols are everywhere; through the Solstice program*, we help reduce their environmental impact with cutting-edge compounds. The future of refrigerants, propellants and aerosol technology will mean less global warming potential thanks to compounds that trap less heat and deplete less ozone. It’s like taking 33 million cars off the road — just this year alone.

We invented state-of-the-art hearing protection that listens along with you. Whenever it hears something it doesn’t like — unsafe noise levels — it alerts safety managers to the situation so they can take action, moving workers away from the noise before it can cause hearing damage.

Inedible crops, waste oils, mustard seeds, algae — they’re all playing a pivotal role in reducing greenhouse gas emission in military and commercial jets. Our materials engineers developed Honeywell Green Jet Fuel, which emits 65 to 85 percent fewer greenhouse gases than the traditional jet fuel it is designed to replace. It’s helping keep Earth greener and our atmosphere cleaner.

As global traffic congestion continues to slow productivity and waste fuel, we’re exploring ways to rise above it. We’re developing avionics, flight control systems, and connectivity for Urban Air Mobility — automated, vertical-takeoff vehicles that can transport passengers and cargo above the traffic.
