Honeywell Institute for Ecosystems Education

Energy, water, waste management and air quality are among the most prominent issues around the world today. As individuals, we can help protect the environment for future generations. As educators, we have a unique opportunity to help children become tomorrow's environmental stewards. Operated in partnership with the New Jersey Audubon Society, Montezuma Audubon Center, Onondaga Audubon Society, and Maryland Science Center, the Honeywell Institute for Ecosystems Education takes science and social studies teachers through an explorative tour of their local ecosystems. Educators learn new teaching techniques and discover creative methods to integrate environmental science into their existing curriculum.
