Honeywell names Jim Carroll as Senior Vice President, Global Government Relations

MORRIS PLAINS, N.J., Feb. 28, 2017 -- Jim Carroll has been named Senior Vice President, Global Government Relations. He will report to Kate Adams, Senior Vice President and General Counsel effective March 31.
“Jim brings more than 30 years of experience and extensive knowledge of High Growth Regions and technology to Honeywell,” said Adams. “Government Relations is an important growth driver for Honeywell, especially in this fast-changing environment. It is more important than ever for the Company to educate policymakers and key decision makers around the world about who we are and the tremendous benefits we can offer through our leading technology portfolio. Jim will be responsible for leading all global, federal, and state government relations activities and developing and executing Honeywell's strategic global corporate, regulatory, and Government Relations strategies. He also will be responsible for ensuring strong relationships with regulators and government leaders.”
Prior to joining Honeywell, Jim served as the Global Managing Director of Government Relations for Accenture &endash; a global professional services company of 394,000 employees &endash; where he was responsible for managing a globally diverse team of professionals across the U.S., Europe, and Asia. He also led the company's U.S. Corporate Citizenship program. Previously, Jim worked as Vice President, for the Livingston Group and as the Vice President, Congressional Relations, for COMSAT Corporation. He started his career in a number of staff roles for U.S. Senator Warren B. Rudman and as an Executive Director of the New Hampshire Dole for President Committee.
Jim serves on a number of professional and charitable boards, including the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, the Information Technology Industry Council, and Junior Achievement USA. Jim earned a bachelor's degree in history from the University of New Hampshire in Durham, New Hampshire.
